Drum Making

Frame or hoop drums have been used by shamans in journey work for thousands of years & can also be successfully used by Reiki healers for aura cleansing & vibrational therapy work. In the same way they may be used for room cleansing & feng shui.

The 14 inch drum is an ideal size for belly dancers who hold them head height & play with their hands or fingers.

Imagine Making your own Shamans hoop Drum, with others of like mind, in a rainforest grove, in the GoldCoast hinterland.

We will be gathered around a campfire with the smell of sweet incense, making the Irish Bodhran using traditional materials.

The skins will be either kangaroo or Deer depending on availability. Standard Rim size 14 inch. Bring along feathers, beads & leather to decorate your drum.

(Note: 16 inch is available at extra cost, ring or e-mail for details.)

Additionally there will be a drum painting workshop scheduled shortly after to choose and paint your power symbol on to your drum with professional guidance.

These workshops tend to be very popular and there are limited places. Why not register NOW.
