Testimonials

What some of the students have been saying about the Celtic shaman correspondence course:

I am practising Riki healer and I think that with the added spiritual energy from this course, there can be so much more that I can do, mentally and physically…

On the whole I feel that most people are of the opinion, that Druids are something out of legend … I am now very much in the opinion that Druids and Druidism is very much alive and in need of today. If we are to survive in the 21st Century we must stop procrastinating, and put all our efforts into ways to save what is left of our planet…

At this moment it feels that we have to stop hoping for a miracle and start to become part of the miracle …I truly feel that druids are not a throwback from the past, that with the dawning of the new age they will become even more prominent and important in our society again.
Christine - North Wales - UK

Druidry opens the eyes again to allow us to see what has always been there….

Druidry provides an avenue to aid empowering oneself, to bring about positive changes, to assist in healing the wrongs we are doing to the earth… it offers a way of learning an alternative approach to healing, an area I am looking forward to exploring further.

In this exercise I was able to encounter a deep meditation where I felt I had experienced my inner sacred grove... However I was very much aware that throughout this exercise I was not only required, but wanted, to train my mind to delve into a grove environment…there were a number of acorns, I picked one up… it reminds me of what is inside it and what is inside me. I am absolutely thrilled with this experience and make a habit of going to this meditative place at least a few times a week now…

… through practice, it has enabled me to achieve greater reach into my sub conscious and therefore greater contact with the Divine ... Now I have started to do this, with wonderful results in attaining a heightened state of awareness ...and have found that the benefits of my meditations have also greatly increased.

… I allow the flow of energy to fill in and around me I literally feel the cleansing of my overall self being performed. It also helps ground and centre me in order to prepare me for whatever the day or night holds.
Melanie - Melbourne VIC

For me, the concept of Druidry conjures rich and complex images ... I consider Druids to be guardians of the spiritual life and well being of the land and of the people - keepers of the mysteries…

…On a more personal level, I have a sense that Druidry, like Wicca, is an important part of my spiritual heritage…

For me, Druidry is as relevant now as it's ever been…

There is a profound need for balance in our lives and society: the material orientation with spiritual, the culture of fear and lack of basic humanity evident in Australian and global politics with love and compassion….

…to work on behalf of the health, people and peace of the planet… Druidry can help to achieve all of that.
Kerith - QLD -Ausralia

For the past 2 1/2 years, I have been regularly practicing what has been taught to me during the ACOD workshops and correspondence course.
Prior to practicing Druidry, the 'Other' rituals I have performed and experienced were 'good', but I was left feeling empty inside…But I had to experience the 'other' rituals before experiencing what I know now and what is to come and I am grateful for all of it!

Since studying Druidry as my primary spiritual path my normal meditations, spiritual practices and rituals are so much more powerful and balanced… I was able to pull myself out of some soul destroying situations.

Druidry is very much apart of my daily life, it is in my blood… to practice it, experience it, and be It everyday, enhances my day and life in general.
Kay - NSW -Australia

Druidry is a spiritual philosophy, a way of life. It honours nature, the spirits and the gods. It has rituals, celebrations and ceremony. We live in an age that is becoming further and further divorced from nature. We lose track of the cycles fall victim to over-consumption. We can lose respect for mother earth thinking it will always provide for us. We can lose respect for others and society.

Druidry, in contrast, can help us focus back on our connection to nature and the real world as opposed to the man-made world. It can help us discover ourselves, help us meditate and consider. It is practical, empowering and leads to wisdom on how to carry out our lives, how we should treat others in a positive way.

…I believe in the value of steady, continual study towards a goal, the going beyond the superficial into intuition, creativity and empowerment to learn how to heal yourself and others….

…it taught me to work to a plan, to push through the obstacles, to go deep down inside myself. This will allow for me to achieve my potential and transform myself by my own efforts. Initially that requires direction from others but eventually I will be able to do it myself by tapping into my own unused strengths.

Alan - Brisban - Australia

Nutshell Supplements

The tree Lore supplements are beautifully illustrated to help bring the texts about trees alive, as they should be. The Ogham or Celtic tree alphabet is a Druid magical script used for inscribing talismans, it is also the key to much of the lost Druid Lore. The founder of ACOD has spent 20 years researching the Ogham and associated tree lore. Much of that time was in Ireland collecting data from long-standing druids and local storytellers. The culmination of this work has never been published and is presented for the first time within these tree Lore supplements.

The twelve workbooks are the nucleus of the course, they bring the whole thing together, they act as your guide through the course. There are many inspirational texts, graphics, diagrams, charts and tables as well as bundles of exercises & monthly assignments to keep you on track.
